The MLWP is celebrating 10 Years !

A look back at the various versions of the site over the past ten years

As I had no idea of how to write html, only going on-line for the first time around 2001
I started the site with the built in 'Sitebuilder'. Very basic set-up - as below

As I learned the basics of html - and bought the Photoshop, Illustrator package, the site would morph
quite a bit. I get bored easy so was constantly changing it and trying to come up with new ideas
for visual as well as content. I would try to emulate (try is the key word!) the Mid-Atlantic Gateway
site as I progressed, but those guys are pro's, still it helped the site evolve.

Below is a version I tried with Illustrator with all image driven links, the one I did for 'The History Of WWE'
site was better , they used that version for a couple of years.

In the last few years tried to go to a more modern minimal look, as a flying buff
one of my favorite sites , content - and look - is Flying so tried to go that route.

When I started the Wildman site, and then Oshawa Wrestling History I tried to learn
from all my past mistakes about adding pages, and setting it up right from the start.

In that vein I decided to follow Gary Will's TWH layout, with each page being a template with new links only added
on the main page, also to have a Home button at the top of each page to avoid having to always add links etc

So...the Oshawa site is my favorite now, and the one I am most proud of, especially as we un-earthed the
history of a great city that had been never researched before. Also to have Alex Milosh open up his archives made the site
something more than just a fan site.

Below is one of many alternates for the main page picture
