Ric Flair's promos were among the best if not THE best of all the top stars.
In his inimitable style he would thank the fans in Toronto for being knowledgeable about the sport,
for knowing their history, and for showing him respect while fans in the other cities were booing him.

Ricky Steamboat appears on MLW TV in a quiet and dramatic interview after an attack by the Nature Boy
on the Mid-Atlantic TV show the previous week. Billy Red Lyons would begin by saying he had never
witnessed such a vicious attack in all his years of mat action. Steamboat would vow revenge upon
Flair and their feud would make for some of the best matches in Toronto history.

 

        

Ivan Koloff made many appearances throughout the MLWP years, he is shown swearing
to take Jimmy Valiant's recently won Cadillac in a title vs car match during their lengthy feud in 1982.
Jay Youngblood appears in a promo for the same card touting his upcoming match with Ninja
while Dory Funk Jr vows to regain the NWA title from then champ Ric Flair in Oct 1982.

 

        

John Studd holds onto his Canadian Title belt while telling Billy Red what he plans to do
to anyone who would dare challenge him for the championship including
arch enemy and the man he won it from - Angelo Mosca

 

        

Along with Flair, Roddy Piper would give some of the best promos of the era in promoting
his upcoming matches at MLG. He is pictured doing commentary on his May 15 1983 bout vs Terry Funk
