Canadian Champion Dino Bravo left Toronto in late 1979 and was stripped of his title. Dewey Robertson would emerge victorious in the ensuing tournament, while Bravo would show up in Winnipeg for the AWA -still billed as the Cdn champ.
 
The match described above is the same match Robertson had here with Bockwinkel (won by submission not pin), and like above, only Dewey's title was at stake. Bravo would continue to appear for the AWA as Cdn champ but never wore a belt as far as I can find out. If you have a pic of Bravo wearing a belt in AWA rings please contact me.
