"Flair vs Backlund 1979"

Pics from a ' TNT Times ' bulletin of the MLG matchup of
then WWWF champ Bob Backlund vs NWA U.S. champ Ric Flair.
Backlund had pinned Flair's tag partner Greg Valentine on the previous card
and would also get the win over Flair who was counted out after 23 minutes of action.
They would put on one of the best matches of the era, both grapplers helping to
re-vitalize the Toronto mat wars after the end of the Sheik era.
