Jake first showed up on a TV taping in Guelph in Sept 1981 with his first shot at MLG
on the Dec 27 Boxing Day card teamed with Blackjack Mulligan vs Super Destroyer and The Grappler

This was before his days of bringing an actual snake into the ring, you could see he
was a fine grappler with speed and ring smarts beyond his years as a second generation wrestler.
