You can't always believe what you hear - or see - when it comes to Pro Wrestlng. Sometimes they would just make it up as they went along, as is evident in these pics of TV Champs Sgt Slaughter & Jos Leduc. Problem is neither ever held that particular title. Slaughter is pictured while he was the Canadian champ (Mosca had left for Florida with the belt), while Leduc poses with the belt for a Stranglehold cover in 1983. As it happens the Sarge's ' proteges ' Pvt Nelson & Kernodle would both hold the title during the last days of the MLW era.
