A dream team of sorts, WWWF champion Bob Backlund teaming with our own Canadian Heavyweight champ Dino Bravo in Oshawa, the night before at MLG, Backlund had defeated Ric Flair while Bravo had fought to a double disqualification with Ken Patera. The teaming would prove successful with the hero's beating Patera and Greg Valentine by dq. Other winners were Brunzell, Orndorff, Youngblood, and Robertson
