The Sheik vs Luis Martinez 1983
The MLWP is very fortunate to to have MLG -and area- Photog Roger Baker contributing
photos from the 1960's to the 1980's and beyond.
Roger sends another classic shot from Scarborough Arena during a Mexican Strap match
between The Sheik and Luis 'Ariba' Martinez. At the time Martinez was in such great shape and
still a fabulous wrestler that it's hard to believe he was around 60 years old. The Sheik
would have been about 57 at this time and still giving it 100% to entertain the fans.
